The Brook Waterloo Hotel is set in the beautiful leafy village of Crowthorne, in the heart of the Royal County of Berkshire.

The hotel was built in the mid 1800’s around the same time as Wellington College. Both buildings take their names from the area’s association with the Duke of Wellington, who enjoyed riding his horse Copenhagen along what is now called Dukes Ride, and the Battle of Waterloo.

The original use for the hotel was as a hostel for the Assistant Masters at Wellington College, then as a public house serving beer and cheese to travellers and passers-by.

In 1946 the building officially became a hotel and has been expanded over the many years into the charming hotel you see today with all the modern amenities you would expect.

The Brook Waterloo Hotel provides an excellent base for exploring Berkshire, including Royal Ascot, Farnborough Air Show, Legoland, Thorpe Park and Windsor Castle.

Experience our warm, friendly welcome and enjoy one of our home cooked meals prepared with fresh local ingredients within The Grove Brasserie and Bar. During the summer months you can enjoy al fresco dining on our Terrace and in the winter cosy up to our roaring fires.

The Brook Waterloo Hotel aims to provide a memorable and individual guest experience through offering the highest quality product and service.
