Barry Island Pleasure Park is situated in the Vale of Glamorgan about 10 miles south of the capital city Cardiff, South Wales, UK. Thousands of children and adults still enjoy a day out at Barry Island. The Pleasure park is surrounded by many other interesting and exciting shops, bars and restaurants.
In addition to the pleasure park Barry Island also boasts natural scenic beauty and a sandy beach with promenade.
Barry Island once upon-a-time used to play host to a Butlins Resort of which you can still see the remains today. The Pleasure Park was also famous for it's Scenic Railway which dominated half of the site back in the early 1900's, this was damaged years ago but some of the materials were used to create the Log Flume, which still remains today as one of the parks most popular attractions.
