This intimate Manor House with 14th century Chapel, 15th century Great Hall and 16th century Great Chamber was once the home of medieval herbalist Henry Lyte. The enchanting 'Arts and Crafts' garden, laid out 100 years ago, is enclosed by high yew hedges and the boarders are planted with mixed shrubs, roses and perennials. Explore the wider estate by taking the River Walk (dogs are welcome on leads). Visit the plant sales area for a large selection of plants grown on site. Teas and light refreshments also available.
